Did you know there are about 7,000 known languages spoken by people around the World, and sadly, this number declines every month and is said that half of that will disappear within the next century, losing a language every 14 days?
Our Samoan population is equivalent to 0.003% of the total world population, and while we are consistently growing throughout the world, social norms influence the expectations of how we adjust, communicate, and mirror similar perceptions or experiences of the Fa’a Samoa way.
Our Samoan is an important language worldwide and we are here to get connected with encouragement and support to see our language through for generations to come. We have put together questions in poll format, to obtain feedback from within our Samoan communities to effectively determine the best exercises and teaching mechanisms to help you improve and keep your language fresh!
